Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a Stellar Senior Living Community, is a 176-bed skilled nursing facility located in Littleton, CO. We have been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an individual to continue the tradition of the best in care for our residents.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position with a compensation of $33 to $36 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition to competitive pay, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in planning and implementing treatment programs for patients with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities
- Monitor and record patient progress, including conducting assessments and documenting therapeutic interventions
- Instruct and assist patients with exercises and activities to improve daily living skills and functional capabilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physicians, and speech therapists, to develop individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive equipment and techniques to promote independence and safety in daily activities
- Attend and participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Must possess and maintain a current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Colorado
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and assist patients with physical tasks as needed
